From the desk of Mark Jewell

Well, as I’m sure you can appreciate, it’s been a busy time behind the scenes here at Providence Lifestyle since our last newsletter. The team have really enjoyed replying to the many interested parties wanting to know more about our exclusive over 50’s rental community, what makes us unique, and how they can secure their preferred home and lot.

It was wonderful to hold our first seminar in Mandurah last Saturday and based on the positive feedback we received, many of you found it to be extremely informative. The great turnout for the event once again validated how important a project like this is to WA, and highlighted the unmet demand that we are servicing.

The event was hosted by our CEO John Wood, who gave up the stage for 30 minutes to Providence lead architect Richard Hammond. Richard is passionate about creating community, sustainability, comfortable and inclusive design, and his passion shone through to the captivated audience. Including me!

At the seminar, 25% of the 80-home community received pre-leasing commitments from the people whom attended the seminar and a further 10% made a tentative commitment, subject to receiving further information. Only 2% asked to be removed from our database.

Some home designs are more popular than others

Each month we will update which designs are left to lease. It is interesting that some designs were more popular than we expected and some were less popular. At present we can still shift the quantities of designs to suit our customers but the earlier you secure one, the easier it is for us to ensure you don’t miss out on the prefect home.

Because we are building the entire community (including the facilities) at the same time, we need to have a design freeze within the next 90 days. It is anticipated, based on enquiry, we will be completely leased by then.

Designs still available (rates after CRA rebate for singles)

  • Aralia x 9 at $279 p/w
  • Bayberry x 2 at $319 p/w
  • Caraway x 9 at $349 p/w

Our development timeline has been revised

We have had a challenge with the Water Corporation supplying the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the all-important function of flushing toilets and discharging our community’s sinks, dishwashers and washing machines.

New Providence locations to follow!

We are excited to let you know that our site at Haynes next to the Haynes shopping centre on Armadale road is on track for approval with further information to follow.

As always, please feel free to call or email me at any time to discuss your needs and any questions you might have.
